Can I trade the News?

We allow news trading with no restrictions on all our funding programs.

However, it's important to be aware of the following guidelines:

If we observe a client over-leveraging or placing high-risk trades exclusively during high-impact news events without a prior history of consistent performance, our risk management team will issue a warning to the client.

If the client continues to engage in such high-risk gambling practices, our contract with the client will be terminated, and they may be declined future funding.

Often, these kinds of behaviors make trading more like gambling and reliant on luck rather than actual trading performance, which invariably leads to accounts being blown up.

However, if you are a trader who follows your trading plan and manages your account responsibly without treating it as a get-rich-quick scheme or acting recklessly, you should not be concerned about this rule.

Being funded by a prop firm is an opportunity to create a win-win relationship for all parties involved.
