Can I use a VPS or VPN for my EA? Also, where is your server located?

For optimal performance and the lowest latency, we recommend selecting a VPS location in Singapore, where our server is located.

We also have an Access Server located in the UK for those located in the European and American regions.

A VPS can be utilized during both the evaluation phases and on the funded account to run your own EA.

If you are going to use a VPS, you must provide proof of the following:

You need the VPS to run an Expert Adviser.
Invoices that you are subscribed to the VPS service.
The EA that you are using on the VPS is an EA that you own the source code.

The use of the VPS for any other reason than the above must be approved by CTI, and a valid reason must be provided.

VPN - Location

The location of your trading activity must match the "Country" of your "Sign-Up Country"; therefore, you are not allowed to use a VPN to hide the Country you're trading from as it hinders the ability to verify the legitimacy of the trader's trading activity.

If you use a VPN, the location settings must match the country you signed up with to prevent any fraudulent activities.

What if I travel and my IP Country keeps changing?

Please be aware that the compliance rules outlined above are not intended to restrict your freedom of trading but are necessary to ensure compliance and fairness across our trading platform.

If you find yourself trading while travelling or if you use a social copy trading tool that might show IP addresses different from your proof of residence, it’s important to keep us informed.

Please provide relevant supporting documents, such as flight tickets, hotel bookings, or VPS invoices in your name.

Email these documents to CTI support to make us aware and to obtain the necessary approval from our team.

These steps help us maintain a secure and compliant trading environment for everyone.

If our risk team identifies irregularities in the IP addresses, VPNs, or VPS IPs or uses the same IP address of another trader during your account review, we may require you to provide documentation as proof to ensure compliance with our prohibited trading methods,

If you are found to be violating these rules as outlined in our prohibited trading methods, any account upgrade or withdrawal request will be rejected, and your account will be terminated immediately.
